Fixed Term Contract Architectural Designer/Technician

We are seeking an experienced Architectural Designer or Architectural Technician to join our team on a fixed-term contract for an initial three-month period. We are looking for someone who can hit the ground running, support the delivery of a large-scale commercial development and deliver high-quality work within our project timeframes.

About the role
You will be embedded within the team producing and coordinating documentation across key project stages. This role requires someone who can confidently contribute from day one and support the successful delivery of the project.
Prepare concept design, resource consent and detailed design drawing packages
Develop and maintain accurate Revit models and project documentation
Workshare collaborative modelling
Coordinate effectively with internal team members and project stakeholders
Ensure drawings and documentation comply with project standards and QA procedures
Interpret project briefs and design direction accurately

About you
Minimum 3 years+ experience as an Architectural Designer or Architectural Technician
New Zealand architectural industry experience (essential)
Advanced Revit skills
Experience working in Revit, Workshare / collaborative modelling
Commercial and/or high-end residential project experience
Strong understanding of the New Zealand Building Code and statutory approval processes
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing accurate documentation
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Ability to manage priorities and deliver work to project timelines
