We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Structural Draughting Team Leader to join our dynamic team in Christchurch. If you have strong experience in Revit structural modelling and detailing, enjoy leading and mentoring; are client focused and have a drive to find better ways, we want to hear from you.
About the role
As a Team Leader you will lead our team of Structural Technicians, detailing and modelling 3D structures across residential, commercial, and industrial projects.
- Provide technical leadership to the team and ensure their ongoing development, providing mentoring, guidance, and training
- Lead and manage workload, with effective resource allocation across projects; establish delivery time-frames, and track team progress
- Review drawing packages through the design process
- Drive collaboration on projects with other disciplines across the business
- Continually improve draughting processes, standards, and output

About you
- Strong leadership, mentoring team members, being a role model for promoting high work standards
- Experience in leading and managing a team; and the delivery of multiple draughting projects
- Relevant degree or diploma, with a minimum of 10 years’ experience as a Senior Structural Technician using Revit, AutoCAD, and 3D modelling
- Comprehensive knowledge of engineering principles, building materials and construction practices. Confident with NZ Building Codes, Standards, and Statutory Requirements
- You will be adaptable with excellent planning, organising, and time management skills
- Enjoy working in a team environment and communicating with a wide range of people
