We have an opportunity for a graduate to intermediate level Structural Engineer to join our residential team in Auckland. About the role
As a Graduate Structural Engineer in our residential team, you will work on a growing range of projects nationally; our projects range from architecturally designed bespoke homes to structural alterations. You will be responsible for project administration and management, the development of seismic design and analysis of buildings.
Key responsibilities:
Structural analysis and design, with a focus on seismic performance and compliance
Preparing concept through to detailed design documentation
Conducting on-site investigations and supporting construction delivery
Writing technical reports and fee proposals
This role offers technical variety, responsibility, and the opportunity to work alongside a knowledgeable team using modern tools and design methods.

About you
Qualified with a BEng (Hons) in Structural Engineering, or equivalent
2 – 5 years as a professional engineer with a focus on residential design in New Zealand
Good working knowledge of NZ Building Code and relevant design standards
Experience in seismic design and detailing for timber-framed and mixed-material buildings
An organised and practical approach to problem-solving and project delivery
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to liaise with clients, local councils, architects, and contractors
Adaptable with a keen eye for detail, excellent planning, organisation, and time management skills
Enjoy working in a team environment and communicating with a wide range of people
