We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Geotechnical Engineer in Auckland. 

Supporting the delivery of a strong pipeline of residential and land development projects across the region, you’ll have the autonomy to lead your own projects, influence technical outcomes, and play a key role in strengthening our growing Auckland capability.

About the role

As a Geotechnical Engineer with us, you will undertake your own projects in leading and delivering geotechnical investigations, design, and reporting.  Ensuring the delivery of high-quality, practical, and cost-effective solutions for our clients.

• Leading geotechnical project delivery from investigation through to completion
• Providing technical input on a variety of projects
• Coordinating effectively with clients, consultants, and contractors
• Undertaking site observation/inspections of on-site works during construction.
• Upholding high standards of technical quality, safety, and delivery

About you

You are a technically strong engineer who takes pride in delivering high-quality outcomes and supporting others to do the same. You enjoy working collaboratively in a team environment and are motivated by opportunities to continue developing your career.

• BEng Civil or equivalent specialising in Geotechnical
• Minimum of 3 years experience within New Zealand
• Strong technical and analytical skills, with sound judgement in practical application
• Proven experience in shallow and deep foundations, slope stability, retaining structures, and ground improvement
• Excellent communication and coordination abilities
• Thrive on challenges and motivated to provide innovative solutions for our clients
• Enjoy working in a team environment and communicating with a wide range of people
