We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Geotechnical Technician to join our growing team in Christchurch; to work on geotechnical investigations and reporting across a wide variety of projects nationally.  If you enjoy working outdoors, meeting new people and have a passion to learn, then we would like to hear from you.

About the role

As an experienced Geotechnical Technician with us you will be out in the field conducting testing, sampling, logging results for reporting, and conducting analysis.  Scheduling projects and communicating with clients, as well as undertaking site observation/inspections of on-site works during construction.

You’ll be working with our dynamic team delivering high quality geotechnical engineering to a range of clients nationally.

About you

• Relevant NZ tertiary qualification, diploma, or experience working as a field technician
• 4 years’+ working in a similar role
• Conversant with all relevant building codes, statutory requirements and the use of applicable software
• Have a high level of attention to detail with excellent planning and sound problem-solving skills, you will take pride in producing quality documentation
• Thrive on a challenge and be motivated to provide innovative solutions for our clients
• Enjoy working in a team environment and communicating with a wide range of people
