About the role

As a Graduate Engineer with us, we’ll start developing your design skills from day one, as you gain experience working across our interesting and complex range of projects nationally. Because we are a multi-disciplinary consultancy, you’ll gain exposure to other aspects of what makes a great building.

We will support, develop and establish your knowledge across residential, commercial, and industrial projects.  You will be working within a team on engineering design and will effectively contribute to: -

• Establishing design criteria
• Preparation of preliminary and detailed designs
• Communicating information to the design team and checking that the documents reflect the design
• Site inspections and investigations
• Undertaking analysis, reporting, and risk assessments
• Project administration and management
• Working with our design teams including external consultants and clients

About you

• Qualified with a BEng (Hons) in Structural, Civil Engineering, or BSc Geology or Environmental, or equivalent tertiary qualification
• You have a sharp eye for detail and the flexibility to adapt to new challenges, tools, and ways of working.
• You manage your time well, plan ahead, and take initiative to keep work on track, especially when juggling multiple deadlines.
• A natural problem solver, you’re curious, solutions-focused, and ready to tackle technical challenges with a positive, can-do attitude and a desire to keep learning.
• You’re confident communicating clearly - whether it’s contributing to team discussions, writing reports, or speaking with clients and collaborators.
• You enjoy working in a team environment, value input from others, and are comfortable engaging with people across disciplines and backgrounds.
